#Greed is a #Sickness #Destroying the #World

The gorilla in the room is greed and Bill Gates - generous as he is - represents all that is wrong with our overly speculative casino like Wall Street model capitalism. The .01% of the planet (mostly USA) possess the majority of wealth and it has only grown exponentially in the last 20 years with the explosion of the worldwide multi-national, corporate, myopic, quarterly based economy that has only served to make the filthy rich 1% more filthy and rich. Historically, extreme stratification of society into the haves and have-nots is a recipe/precursor to bloody revolution. Yet we arrogant contemporary 21st century people think we are immune to repeating ugly and violent history. But the current flow of empires and negative geopolitics tells the real story. There are solutions such as enforced trickle down economics aka Universal Basic Income UBI - and some of the younger, not-so-out-of touch rich folks like Musk & Zuckerberg are for it and understand its urgency in the face of 80% of Americans (and many other educated, working peoples around the world) who did everything right and yet are 2 paychecks from losing everything. A UBI would allow the majority of hard working peoples who are not adept at being creepy capitalistic sharks a chance at peace of mind and so instead of fighting with their spouses about money problems/paying bills (90% of couples' fighting), which in turn negatively affects the entire family unit and eventually manifests in angry populist and nationalistic movements in society - with UBI they could instead spend more relaxed quality time with their families and maybe even get involved in their communities as in healthy democratic civic duty/actions. There is no balance to our current broken neoliberal system - which includes our corrupted Democracy where leaders spend 50% of their time on the phone raising money for the next election cycle in quid pro quo politics as usual in the post Citizen's United plutocracy reality where the rich are running the show and if you go by the state of nature - are dragging us all to hell in a hand basket - all for more profits. Greed is a sickness that is destroying the world and yet we put these ridiculously rich people on the cover of magazines and worship them like the false idols they are. The APA should list greed as a mental illness/disease that requires immediate treatment and/or the person should be institutionalized to protect the rest of humanity. God bless this greedy man made mess!

The Stock Market is a scam - over valued corporations playing with billions like monopoly game money. We need to rid our world of the Wall Street model and go back to organic free market capitalism - as in natural growth - grow naturally - create products on demand using technology and when you can't keep up with it - that's where you stop and make a nice living - even get rich but not disgusting ridiculously and artificially rich based on speculation and musical chairs of a wall street stock market system no one really understands and computers only make worse - a system guaranteed to crash on a regular basis as it has since it started a few hundred years ago - thus always leaving the economic mess to the tax payers to bail out and pay for with real hard earned money based on real measurable labor energy put in. The GDP growth/scaling model by any means necessary is no longer sustainable or desirable for a more equitable, just, and egalitarian ecologically healthy world that those intelligent Christians among us wish for. The Socialist model of economics is much closer to what Christ taught than is the current American dog eat dog, greed rules, capitalist pig system that has ruled out country since Reagan & Regan sold us out to the corporations back in the 1980s. Now we are finally getting proofs in the form of the latest Paradise tax evasion docs and the Panama papers of the once considered conspiracy theory of the multi-national corporation executives ruling our planet in secret meetings to make trade deals etc. and store their tax evaded fake fortunes in off shore banks hidden in shell companies. From Trump and members of his crooked administration to CEO MArk Zuckerberg of Facebook, TIm Rice of Apple to the Queen of England - they are all unpatriotic greedy people who do not pay their fair share of taxes made in our safe countries built on the blood, sweat and tears of 99% of average folks - and thus the greedy 1% risk bringing our countries to ruination via crumbling infrastructure and a much needed and expensive switch over to clean energy before the full negative effects of fossil fuel caused global warming threaten to disrupt every country in the world with never seen before refugee crisis from huge sea level rise, which will surely lead to major civil wars. The whole system is not holistic on any level and the corporations have hijacked/stolen our democracies almost completely - where you have sleazy strange bed buddies like Putin's and Trump's creepy cronies working us all like the distracted, stupid consumer puppets we have become to increase their fortunes and power on the world stage. God bless this human made mess - go out and vote today - do something! Be part of the solution and not the pollution!
